LESSON PROGRAM / MEET THE STUDENTS
All of students start with learning a good balanced seat. The lunge line is often used to help students achieve proper position and balance while riding. Independence of the hands and seat with good upright posture as well as riding using core muscles are encouraged. Yoga type exercises on the lunge are used to help the rider feel the correct position.
Students who are fearful are treated with extra care. Giving them the tools they need to be more confident around horses.

"I began dressage lessons on my Morgan gelding, Black Tuxedo Mac Attire (better known as Max) with Tammy Lisi in 2007. I had not ridden in 25 years and Max had been trained by the Amish as a buggy horse. Neither of us had experience in dressage but I was enthused about learning. Tammy is very patient and thorough in her training techniques. I feel that Max and I have really progressed under her instruction and would recommend Tammy Lisi to anyone who is interested in becoming a better rider or with help in training your horse.
