ABOUT US | MEET THE HORSES

Tamarack Stables is owned and operated by Tom and Tammy Lisi. The Lisi’s moved from Wisconsin in 1999 allowing Tom to join Terracon Consultants as a professional civil engineer.

They purchased Tamarack Stables as a run down fixer up that would allow Tammy to keep her horses at home. They have been making improvements to their home and the stables ever since.

Tammy has been a dressage rider since 1995 when she purchased her AQHA Gold Jess Cody. Tammy and Cody trained with Chris Taylor before moving to Iowa in 1999. In 2005 Tammy met Anne Royer and White Ash. Ash and Anne introduced Tammy to the upper levels of dressage. Currently Tammy is training a young mustang mare, Bonita.

Tammy enjoys working with troubled horses, and helping riders achieve more from their riding. Her greatest accomplishments are when her students excel to higher levels of riding and communication with their partners.
